ProBiotix Health plc has appointed Niels Peter Bak as its new Head of Product Management as part of a strategic approach to further accelerate product development.
The life sciences business, that develops probiotic formulations to support cardiometabolic health, previously announced its new strategy to target the over-the-counter pharmaceutical market and online health brands with its finished supplement dosage formats. The appointment of Niels Peter will enable the company to strengthen its infrastructure and elevate its customer service offering in the probiotics market.
With almost 30 years of experience in international roles in the global probiotics sector, Niels Peter has been an integral part of the team at pharmaceutical manufacturing company Bifodan A/S as a Business Unit Manager, before it was acquired by Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes in 2019. Since then, Niels has continued to work with Deerland as a Senior Product Manager, where he specialised in product portfolio development and operational product management.

Prior to his role at Deerland, Niels Peter was employed at the international global biosciences company, Chr. Hansen, within the probiotics division. Here, he worked across many roles from business manager to marketing and corporate management.
